Dr. Ma is a doctor of medicine, Chief Physician, associate professor, and master's supervisor. she graduated from Peking Union Medical College of China (PUMC) with a doctorate degree in 2005. She is a member of the Standing Committee and Secretary General of the Ischemic Stroke Surgery Committee of the Cerebral Defense Committee of the National Health and Family Planning Commission, and a member of the Neurosurgical Anatomy Branch of the Chinese Anatomical Society.

      She has been working in the Department of Neurosurgery of Xuanwu Hospital of Capital Medical University, mainly engaged in the surgical treatment of ischemic cerebrovascular disease. She specializes in the diagnosis and surgical treatment of various intracranial and extracranial arterial stenosis or occlusive diseases, including carotid endarterectomy, intracranial and extracranial vascular bypass grafting and other treatment modalities, and she has unique insights in the complex surgical treatment of chronic occlusive cerebrovascular disease as well as the diagnosis and treatment of smog disease.

      He is the author of one book and two translations, and has published more than 20 articles as the first author and corresponding author. As the subject leader, he is in charge of the project of Beijing Municipal Science and Technology Commission, "Research and Development of Decision-making System for Treatment of Atherosclerotic Stenosis of Intracranial Arteries Based on Structural Imaging Histology Technology". He has participated in the National 12th Five-Year Plan "Research on Minimally Invasive Technique System for Cerebral Blood Flow Reconstruction in Ischemic Cerebrovascular Disease" and the National 13th Five-Year Plan "Research on Diagnostic and Evaluation Technique of Digital Cerebral Blood Flow Reserve Function and Its Application".
