Dr. Wang Yabing, Chief Physician, graduated from Capital Medical University. He is the chairman of the Neurointerventional Branch Committee of Beijing Neurology Society; the standing member of Ischemic Stroke Surgery Specialty Committee of Stroke Prevention and Control Expert Committee of National Health and Wellness Commission; and the member of Ischemic Stroke Intervention Specialty Committee of Stroke Prevention and Control Expert Committee of National Health and Wellness Commission. He has been working in the Department of Neurosurgery of Xuanwu Hospital of Capital Medical University since 2000, mainly engaged in the surgical treatment of ischemic cerebrovascular disease. He specializes in the diagnosis and surgical treatment of various intracranial and extracranial arterial stenosis or occlusive diseases, including the interventional treatment of intracranial arterial stenosis and carotid stenosis, as well as carotid endarterectomy, intracranial and extracranial vascular bypass grafting surgeries, and other treatment modalities.

      He has published more than 10 papers as the first author and corresponding author; he has participated in the basic and clinical research of spinal vascular malformation which won the second prize of National Science and Technology Progress. He was responsible for the project of Beijing Municipal Science and Technology Commission, "Research and Development of New Evaluation System for Carotid Atherosclerosis Stenosis Based on Molecular Imaging and Computational Fluid Dynamics Technology", and participated in the municipal major project "Research on the Shortcut Channel for Cerebrovascular Disease in Beijing", and was also responsible for the National 12th Five-Year Plan of the People's Republic of China as the PI for the sub-topic. As a sub-topic PI, he was responsible for the "Research on Minimally Invasive Technology System for Cerebral Blood Flow Reconstruction in Ischemic Cerebrovascular Disease" of the 12th Five-Year Plan and the "Research on Diagnostic and Evaluation Technology of Digital Cerebral Blood Flow Reserve Function and Its Application" of the "13th Five-Year Plan" of the National Key Science and Technology Support Program.
