Yanfei Chen, M.D. Chief Physician, has been working in the Department of Neurosurgery of Xuanwu Hospital of Capital Medical University since he graduated from the Department of Clinical Medicine of Capital Medical University in 1995, and has 25 years of clinical experience in neurosurgery. For the past 15 years, he has been mainly engaged in hemorrhage and ischemic cerebrovascular disease, and his current direction is endovascular intervention and surgical treatment of ischemic cerebrovascular disease. He specializes in the diagnosis and revascularization of carotid and intracranial arterial stenosis and occlusive diseases, including carotid endarterectomy, stenting of various intracranial and extracranial stenoses, and intracranial and extracranial vascular bypass grafting. He is in charge of the National 12th Five-Year Plan "Research on Minimally Invasive Techniques for Cerebral Blood Flow Reconstruction in Ischemic Cerebrovascular Disease" and its sub-project - National Multi-Center Registry of Surgical Treatments for Carotid Stenosis in Ischemic Stroke, and he has participated in the National Key Science and Technology Support Program "13th Five-Year Plan" and the National Key Science and Technology Support Program.
