He specialises in various interventional and surgical treatments for ischemic cerebrovascular disease and has personally completed more than 5000 cases of cerebral ischemia interventions and surgical treatments. As the leader of cerebrovascular disease surgery and interventional therapy in Xuanwu Hospital, he has led the development of the field in China, pioneered a number of new surgical procedures in the international arena, and presided over the national neurointerventional training, training a large number of specialists for China. He has presided over more than ten projects of the Ministry of Science and Technology and the National Natural Science Foundation of China, and has taken the lead in formulating several national industry guidelines. |
